It is hiking on the banks of the rivers and in some places in the rivers. These hikes take place during the summer months. A prerequisite for hiking is mental and physical health and the knowledge of swimming.

River Trekking at Gorge Arini

Arini Gorge, about 3 km long, is located near Spilia, 2 km from Arini. The morphology of the soil is such that Kombori Hill is almost adjacent to the opposite hill of Spilia and the two seem to be tightly encased. From the construction of what nature created, from the old days, probably during the geological period, a deep gorge almost unspoiled, reminding the visitor of the remarkable Samaria Gorge. Through this narrow ravine pass the waters of the River Anigros, which originates from Mount Minthi and flows into the Ionian Sea.

Neda waterfalls

Neda is a river of the Peloponnese, located at the borders of the prefectures of Ilia and Messinia. It flows from Mount Lykaio, flows to the west and flows into the Ionian Sea, between the coasts of Kyparissia and Zacharo. Its length is 32 km. The river was named after the nymph Neda. The river from antiquity defined the borders of Ilia from Messinia, as Pausanias mentions. Near the banks of the river were the ancient Phiigalia and the temple of Epicureus Apollo in Basses. The river over a large part of it crosses a ravine with very rich vegetation. Along its course, waterfalls are created. The largest is near Figalleia and has a height of about 20 meters.
